Multirope winders may have several (2, 3, 4, 6, 8) hoist ropes and may be installed either on the tower head frame directly over the mine shaft (machines of the МПМБ, ЦШ and MK types) or in the building of the ground-based equipment at a certain distance from the shaft (machines of the МПМН and ЦШН types). Multirope winders are mainly used for large-sized loads hoisting from the large depths levels.
